Our first visit of 2012 takes us to S.E. London for a visit to the site of one of Henry VIII’s grand palaces. Only the Great Hall remains from Henry’s time and like the rest of Eltham Palace it too has seen many phases of building. Today Eltham Palace is more widely recognised as the Art Deco gem created by the Courtaulds.
