Virtual Tour – Kirstenbosch National Botanic Garden, Cape Town – Monday 6 March at 9.30 am

Lying at the Eastern foot  of fabled Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as  the most beautiful garden in Africa and one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Founded by botanist Harold Pearson in 1913 on land bequeathed to the nation by Cecil Rhodes, the 36-hectare garden is part of a 528-hectare estate that contains protected mountainside supporting natural forest and fynbos along with a variety of animals and birds.
